WOO-HOO! I was very excited today to read that voters in Montville, Maine passed a binding ordinance banning the cultivation of GMO crops in their community. While this may only be a first step in protecting those of us that do not wish to grow/eat genetically modified foods...I feel that it is a promising one, and I hope this is the beginning of a trend.
